Start your engines and head to the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP).

This multi-track motorsport venue features a 10-turn road course stretched over almost four kilometres of racing track. Fans of Formula One racing can spend their time testing out the track with their own car or choose from the high-performance fleet on offer. Off the track, fun activities provide entertainment for the whole family.

The CTMP is situated on over 360 hectares of beautiful rolling hills, surrounded by beautiful parkland, open fields and picnic spots from which to watch all of the action on the track.

How to get to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park

Location: 3233 Concession Road 10, Bowmanville

By car: The Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is located north of Bowmanville, approximately 100 kilometres east of Toronto. From Toronto, drive east along Highway 401 through Bowmanville, then head north on Highway 35. You can’t miss the signs for Canada’s home of motorsport.  

Know before you go

The park is typically open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. but hours may vary depending on the day’s events. Check the CTMP schedule or contact the CTMP office before your visit. 

Purchase tickets in person or online

Visitors are welcome to bring their food and drinks for a BBQ, tailgate party or simply picnic with a view.

Interesting facts about Canadian Tire Motorsport Park

In 1961, the original facility (named Mosport Park) was built to be a world-class professional racing circuit, attracting major international races to the Toronto area. Mosport hosted the first-ever Formula One Canadian Grand Prix in 1967 and over the years it has been visited by most major international series like the Formula 5000, IndyCar and World Sportscar Championship.

Racing legends such as Stirling Moss, Gilles Villeneuve, Mario Andretti and Richard Petty have all left their marks on the Canadian Tire race track.
