Sault Ste. Marie

Sault Ste. Marie

Sault Ste. Marie is the seat of Algoma District and the Northern Ontario’s third-largest city. Surrounded by sandy beaches, two Great Lakes and deep forest, it makes a great starting point for fishing and hiking and camping adventures at nearby parks like Pancake Bay Provincial Park or Hiawatha Highlands.

The city is also home to must-see attractions, historical sites, iconic festivals and one of the most beautiful train tours in Canada. Factor in great restaurants, craft breweries and a laid-back vibe and you’ve got a great northern destination.
