April showers bring May … June, July and August flowers, from budding tulips in spring to summer’s sunflower season.

Flower farms and gardens across Ontario invite you to bask in the beauty of the various flowers they grow and to purchase freshly cut flowers or create your own floral arrangement.

Some also offer special workshops and activities such as flower arranging or yoga sessions. Check if pre-purchased admissions tickets are required before your visit.

Niagara Region

TASC Tulip Pick Farm

TASC Farm has expanded production, so this spring, over three million tulips will transform their fields into a sea of colour.

Pre-purchased tickets are required and can be used anytime the farm is open.

JP Niagara Tulip Experience

Experience the joy of being surrounded by over two million tulips! Take in the colours and ambiance and pick your own bouquet from different varieties of tulips.

Sarah Grey Pick Farm

Experience over 1.5 million tulips at Sarah Grey Pick Farm!  With stunning photo props, ample free parking, easy highway access and flexible ticket options, it's the perfect spring escape for flower lovers and photographers alike.

Roadside Flower Market

Spend a day on the farm, picking your tulips and taking photos. Friendly leashed pets are also welcome.

Bring a picnic to enjoy the serenity of Niagara’s greenhouse sector. Family activities include bouncy castles, wagon rides and fun surprises.

Dahlia May Flower Farm & Farmstand

Visit the farm stand to select the perfect bouquet from a selection of mixed seasonal blooms, including bright and vibrant dahlias.

This Bay of Quinte flower farm has become a popular agri-tourism destination for unique experiences like sunrise and sunset flower picking.

The Vankleek Hill (VKH) Tulip Fields is a charming family-friendly farm located within walking distance of Vankleek Hill’s main street.

Select your choice of tulip blooms on the U-Pick experience nearby at Ouimet Farms Adventure.

Country Cut Flowers

Just north of Toronto in King Township, Country Cut Flowers is a picturesque farm with brilliant pick-your-own flower fields sure to inspire the budding floral arranger in you.

Get your ticket for cut-your-own-flowers in advance and don’t forget to bring your own scissors.

French Blooms

Pick your own bouquet of fresh flowers at Robintide Farms or select a pre-made arrangement at the Farm Market.

The seasonal Sunflower Walk offers a sublime experience. The farm grows over 30 varieties of flowers; get a seasonal pass so you can make the most of the entire season.

Cold Springs Flower Farm

Nestled in the beautiful countryside just north of Cobourg, this small family farm is the perfect mini-getaway for a peaceful escape. Get hands-on experience cutting your own bouquet from a colourful selection of specialty flowers, including peonies, sweet peas, dahlias and lisianthus. Special events in the flower field include beginner's yoga, book club in the greenhouse and dahlia workshops.

Andrew’s Farm

In addition to various fruits, berries and vegetables, Andrew’s Farm also offers in-season pick-your-own dahlias and sunflowers.

Black Creek Flower Farm

Growers of specialty, seasonal and high-quality flowers, the U Pick garden opens in July for pick-your-own experiences. Ready-made bouquets are also available at the farm.

This small family farm grows over 35 varieties of flowers, including peonies, sunflowers, dahlias and hydrangeas.

Pick your own, purchase pre-cut bouquets and join tours and workshops regularly offered at the farm.

Sapphire Hollow is a boutique flower farm located in historic Amherstburg.

Rounds Ranch

There’s something for everyone at Rounds Ranch, including flower lovers.

The lavender experience is offered throughout July, followed by the cheerful sunflowers in August.

Heritage Blooms Upick

Experience country living with the opportunity to pick gorgeous flowers on this working farm. Heritage Bloom was a recent award-winner as a new and innovative tourism business in the area.

Northeastern Ontario

Island Roots Flower

Enjoy a magical pick-your-own flower experience on Manitoulin Island.

You’ll receive a jar, scissors and water for your freshly selected bouquet. Choose from sunflowers, dahlias, zinnias, poppies and more throughout the season.

The farm stays open until dusk for sunset flower picking during the summer.
