From a haunted house for kids and carved pumpkin displays to elaborate corn mazes brimming with surprises, these festivities invite children to dress up in creative costumes.
Many of these events feature trick-or-treating, Halloween-themed face painting, ghostly decorations and interactive fun to keep the kids entertained during this spooky season.

Halloween Nights of Lights
Don’t miss this immersive walk-through installation experience featuring over 1.5 million animated and synchronized lights along the Night of Lights trail at CF Sherway Gardens.
There’s also the Pumpkinville Fair, with sculptures, entertainment and even pumpkin-themed food to explore.

Camp Spooky at Canada’s Wonderland
Camp Spooky brings special Halloween activities to Canada’s Wonderland theme park, making this the perfect place for families with kids to enjoy Halloween.
Walk around the park and participate in a variety of family-friendly activities. Go trick-or-treating with Halloween characters, show off your costume in the kids’ Halloween parade and meet the PEANUTS gang, like Snoopy and Charlie Brown, during live shows.
In addition to the Camp Spooky events, experience thrilling activities at Canada’s Wonderland like riding on roller coasters and splashing in the water parks.
Entrance to Camp Spooky is included with park admission to Canada’s Wonderland.

Kreepy Kortright
Get into the spooky spirit at Kortright Centre for Conservation.
The outdoor Halloween-themed event includes forest walks to learn about animals active at night and seasonal activities. Tune in for the mysterious stories, campfires and marvel at the haunted house. Tickets can be purchased online.

Boo at the Zoo
Kids love searching for candy during Boo at the Zoo at Safari Niagara, one of the top trick-or-treat events in the Niagara region.
This family-friendly event brings local retailers, businesses and vendors to the zoo with a wide selection of Halloween-themed products and services. Join the all-ages music and dance party. Children in costume can enter the Halloween costumes contest for the chance to win some great prizes.
Tickets are available online. Children aged 12 and under who are dressed in costumes enter for free.

Howl-O-Ween Events at Great Wolf Lodge
Head to Great Wolf Lodge, where kids can dress up and join the Great Wolf Kids in a costume parade.
The best costume will be rewarded with a prize. Kids can collect candies and goodies on the Trick or Treat Trail. There will also be a Monster Bash Dance Party in the Grand Living Room.

Pumpkins After Dark
Stroll through a magical pathway of over 10,000 hand-carved pumpkins and brilliant Halloween installations at Pumpkins After Dark.
At this award-winning outdoor Halloween event, you can watch live pumpkin carving demonstrations, sample fall sweets, and take Instagram-worthy pictures against stunning Halloween backdrops. Also, keep your eyes open for classic Halloween characters, dragons and pop culture icons walking around the park.
Wednesdays are pet nights, so bring your furry friend to join this Halloween festival. Tickets are available online only.

The Great Pumpkin Trail
Follow the glow of candle-lit jack-o-lanterns along the Great Pumpkin Trail at the Royal Botanical Gardens. Costumes are optional, but encouraged.
