Kids of all ages love the spring sunshine, spending time with friends and all the chocolate treats they get to enjoy at the end of a successful egg hunt.
Everyone is sure to have lots of fun at these parades, festivals and Easter activities for families.
Here are the top Easter 2025 events, egg hunts and spring activities in Ontario.
Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
Toronto Beaches Easter Parade
Attracting over 50,000 people every year, the Toronto Easter Parade brings marching bands, parade floats and costumed characters to the east-end Beaches neighbourhood.
This popular Easter parade first started in 1967 and has since become the largest and longest-running Easter parade in the world.
Queen Street East will be fully closed for the parade, as will sections of surrounding side streets, including Nursewood Road, Woodbine Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard East. The Toronto Public Transit (TTC) will be rerouting buses and streetcars through the area. If you’re arriving by car, you’ll need to arrive early in order to find parking.
There will also be an Easter egg scavenger hunt for kids and families in the Beaches on April 18, starting at 10:00 a.m..
Date: April 20, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
Parade route: The parade starts at Queen Street East and Munro Park Avenue, proceeds west along Queen Street and ends at Woodbine Avenue in Toronto.
Art Hunt
Search for hand-painted wooden eggs on the first floor and lower level of the 401 Richmond Building.
These unique Easter egg paintings were done by the building’s talented artists and crafters, and are available “first come, first find.” Arrive early for the chance to bring home one of the egg artworks.

Easter at Pingle’s Farm
Enjoy the annual sp-EGG-tacular Easter Egg Hunt on the lovely farm grounds at Pingle’s. Decorate your Easter egg basket and take it with you on your hunt for Easter eggs. Once you’ve found all the eggs, you’ll be rewarded with a treat bag full of goodies.
While you’re there, stop by the farm and say hello to the goats, sheep, donkeys and llamas, snap a photo with the Easter Bunny, listen to live music, take a wagon ride and grab some specialty Easter food and drinks.

Markham Fairgrounds Easter Fun Fest
Markham’s Easter Fun Fest offers plenty of fun for the whole family throughout the Easter long weekend. Family rides, exciting games, live entertainment, egg hunts and family photos can all be enjoyed at this four-day festival, which takes place both indoors and outdoors across the expansive Markham Fairgrounds.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the door and admission includes unlimited access to all rides.

Pickering Easter Parade
Decorate your bikes, wagons or scooters and participate in the annual Pickering Easter Parade. Hosted by the Bay Ridges Royal Canadian Legion Branch 606, you’ll enjoy watching the vibrant parade, followed by lunch and fun family activities.
Date: April 19, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
Parade route: The parade starts at Liverpool Road and Annland Street, proceeds east along Annland Street, then east on Krosno Boulevard, east on Alyssum Street, south on Lublin Avenue, east on Parkham Crescent, south on Sandy Beach Road, then finishes at Bay Ridges Kinsmen Park.
Downey’s Farm Market Easterfest
Downey’s Farm Easterfest 2025 includes five days full of fun Easter activities. Enjoy an Easter egg hunt, a puppet show, a wagon ride, meeting the Easter Bunny, greeting baby farm animals and much more.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Willowtree Farm
Follow the Easter Bunny and his friends on an adventure through Willowtree Farm’s enchanted Spring Forest Trail. The whole family will enjoy a forest scavenger hunt, collecting eggs in the Easter egg hunt and creating art in the greenhouse craft stations.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Warner Ranch & Pumpkin Farm
Prepare for a full day of fun at Warner Ranch’s Easter Eggstravaganza. Take part in egg decorating, visiting the petting farm, riding on a horse-drawn hayride and hunting for Easter eggs. For an extra fee, you can also ride Warner Ranch’s magical ponies and unicorns.
This is a first-come, first-served event, so arrive early to guarantee your entry.

Binbrook Easter Egg Hunt
Sponsored by community organizations and run by local volunteers, the Binbrook Easter Egg Hunt is held at Binbrook Agricultural Society Fairgrounds and gives kids the chance to make friends and have fun searching for chocolate eggs together. The egg hunts are organized by age group, so check their website for the exact time that your child can join the hunt.
In addition to the egg hunt, there will be a bunny tractor, a chance to pet a real bunny, an activity area and more.
Admission to the Binbrook Easter Egg Hunt is by donation.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Puddicombe Estate

Schneider Haus Easter Egg-stravaganza
Meet baby chicks, play carrot toss and take part in other family Easter games and crafts at this Easter Egg-stravaganza. End your adventure with a rainbow egg hunt—if you find an egg of every colour, you’ll get a special Easter treat. And if you find the golden egg, you’ll be entered into the raffle for a free membership to the Region of Waterloo Museums.

Easter Egg Hunt at Valleyview Little Animal Farm
Enjoy the annual Easter egg hunt held on the scenic grounds of Valleyview Little Animal Farm. After the egg hunt, continue exploring the property to learn about farming, visit the baby animals and take a ride aboard the Valleyview Express.

Easter in the Park in Sarnia
Sarnia’s annual Easter in the Park has been a city tradition for over 50 years, bringing Easter cheer to the picturesque Canatara Park.
Come and look for eggs hidden around the field by the Easter Bunny, participate in Easter arts and crafts and watch lively performances. The Easter bunny will also be there to meet kids and take some pictures.

Gnorbert’s Spring Egg Hunt
Held in the charming Storybook Gardens, this exciting event invites you to hunt for one of seven coloured eggs for a great prize. Meet special guests, take part in Easter-themed activities and sample treats from food trucks and the Beavertails concession.

Town of Kingsville Easter Egg Hunt
Spend a fun day at Lakeside Park for Kingsville’s Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter egg hunt is split into two events: kids aged 1–4 will begin at 11 a.m. and those aged 5–8 will start at 11:30 a.m. Collect candy, get crafty, join the scavenger hunt, bounce on inflatables and play lawn games.
There is also a separate Dog Easter Egg Hunt on the same day, so bring your furry friends and browse through the pet-friendly vendors on-site.

Algonquin Park, Muskoka and Parry Sound
Community Easter Egg Hunt at Muskoka Heritage Place
This free 45-minute event is a chocolate treasure hunt and search for the golden eggs. Thousands of chocolate eggs will be hidden around Muskoka Pioneer Village and kids who find the golden eggs will receive a special prize from the Nutty Chocolatier.
Kids will be divided into different age groups for egg hunting. Families are encouraged to bring a bag or pail for Easter eggs.
