Kitchen76 at Two Sisters’ Vineyards

Sisters Angela Marotta and Melissa Marotta-Paolicelli own this award-winning winery, which is nestled on the north tip of the Niagara River and features stunning views across the river and towards Lake Ontario.

Stay for a delicious meal from a menu that salutes the sisters’ proud Italian heritage.

Dishes like arancini (Sicilian rice balls with smoked mozzarella) and carciofi (artichoke) and meals infused with fresh aromatic herbs, fresh tomatoes and marinated olives are paired with the appropriate Rosé, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon or Cabernet Franc.

Trius Winery Restaurant

Serving brunch, lunch, and dinner, the restaurant at Trius Winery is an excellent choice for upscale farm-to-table wine country cuisine. Under the director of Chef Frank Dodd, the restaurant offers multi-course tasting menus and wine pairings. 

The restaurant décor features luxurious hardwood floors, rich red upholstered furniture and orb chandeliers that lend a charming elegance. In warmer months, outdoor dining in the Wine Garden boasts a romantic atmosphere.

The menu may feature Icewine Pulled Pork and White Bean Cassoulet Poutine, falafel cakes, steaks and homestead farm fried duck eggs, to name a few. Special events include blind tasting dinners, collaborative cooking classes, themed dining events and a prix fixe three-course fixed menu for couples’ Monday date night.

Peller Estates and Winery Restaurant

At Peller Estate, Chef Jason Parsons and Winemaker Katie Dickieson collaborate their talents to produce exquisite and delicious food and wine pairings.

Restaurant at Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery

Many of the seasonally inspired food ingredients at this family-owned organic vineyard restaurant are harvested from the onsite garden. The bounty includes an abundance of garlic, peppers, asparagus, rhubarb and over 300 varieties of tomatoes. Honey is also produced on the property from 40 beehives.

Share a starter meal that features local cheese, a variety of fresh herbs, heirloom and garden tomatoes. Main entrees may include sustainably sourced salmon and tender meat dishes garnished with sauces, herbed salads, roasted garlic aioli and pickled vegetables. Pizza with organic Canadian wheat is baked in the wood oven and loaded with an assortment of freshly seasoned toppings infused with seasoned aromatic herbs and spices. There’s also a very appetizing dessert selection to tempt your sweet tooth.

Pair or sample the creations of Head Winemaker, Lydia Tomek. Tours can be arranged to see the vineyard and the garden and be sure to stop by the grocery store to pick up some local products.

The Whisky Bar Patio at Wayne Gretzky Estates

A combined winery, distillery and brewery, this unique foodie destination is the inspiration of hockey legend, Wayne Gretzky.

Snack on sharable or a more substantial meal inspired by casual comfort foods alongside wine and whisky tasting. For a truly unique experience, watch for special dining events held in the Barrel Celler.

Caroline Cellars’ Farmhouse Café

A small, family-run vineyard, Caroline Cellars has been making wine for four generations in Germany and Canada. Their grapes are sourced from two farms in the Niagara-on-the-Lake area and their vintages are only available at the restaurant and winery.

Enjoy a casual dining experience at the onsite Farmhouse Café, matched with a menu almost entirely sourced locally from Niagara’s farming community. Ingredients, like tomatoes and herbs come directly from their own garden. The rotating homestead-style menu features an array of comfort dishes from salads to German schnitzel and spaetzle, authentic German sauerkraut, charcuterie, sandwiches, tacos and poutine.

Vineyard Kitchen and Bistro at 13th Street Winery

Exceptional hand-crafted wines, beautiful gardens and vineyards, a bakery famous for its butter tarts and a seasonal bistro are all great reasons to visit this boutique winery, recently named the top winery in Ontario by the National Wine Awards of Canada.

The farmhouse bistro operates from mid-May to mid-October. It has seating on the patio overlooking the vineyards and an indoor pavilion. Vineland Estates Winery Restaurant

The restaurant at Vineland Estates Winery changes its menu seasonally to reflect the freshest locally sourced ingredients from Niagara foragers and farmers.

The rustic charm of the renovated 1845 farmhouse and the relaxed atmosphere on the newly renovated deck add to the overall ambiance. Take in views towards Lake Ontario, the Toronto skyline and a canopy of beautiful trees.

Choose from the chef’s tasting menu of classic and reserve Vineland wines, thoughtfully paired with each course. Notable menu options include seared scallops with grilled calamari, rillettes of the day, terrine, house-cured meats, pastrami, tuna crudo and Lake Erie yellow perch.

Peninsula Ridge Estate Winery

Perched on a hilltop along the Beamsville Bench, Peninsula Ridge Estate Winery offers magnificent views of the Niagara Escarpment.

That’s just one of the many reasons to dine at this stunning, Instagram-worthy red brick Victorian manor. The seasonal menu is as much a visual delight as it is delicious to taste.

The Restaurant at Redstone Winery

Founded in 2009, Redstone Winery is an organic vineyard and winery just outside of Beamsville that has consistently won awards and accolades for its wine and hospitality centre.

The contemporary facility features wood, stone, and glass, with tall ceilings, a fireplace and large windows that open to the patio and vineyard. A garden on the property harvests ingredients for the kitchen.

Open for lunch, dinner and private group dining, menu items include soups, snacks, appetizers, main courses and desserts, complemented with reds, whites and sparkling wines from Redstone and sister winery, Tawse.

As a living wage establishment, Redstone follows a “service included” model that customers are not required or expected to tip.

The Good Earth Food and Wine Co.

The small bistro restaurant at this craft winery crafts a simple, local and delicious menu that celebrates the seasonality of the region.

Surrounded by orchards, vineyards, and gardens, guests can choose to dine outdoors or indoors, weather permitting. Either way, the welcoming service and airy ambiance set the tone for a relaxing and flavourful meal you won’t soon forget.

Restaurant at Pearl Morissette

For a truly unique gourmet experience, make your next reservation at Pearl Morissette.

Although the meals are inspired by French cuisine, this country boutique winery embraces the Japanese “omakase” approach to dining. There is no menu to peruse. Instead, guests are treated to the element of surprise as locally sourced and organic ingredients are transformed into course items by the trusted chef.

Each day presents a different food and organic wine presentation, which makes this experience so special. Pearl Morissette also has a no-tipping model. Be sure to indicate any allergies or dietary restrictions when making reservations.

Honsberger Estate Winery Restaurant

Operated by a sixth-generation family of farmers, rest assured that the food at Honsberger Estate Winery will be top quality.

Enjoy thin, wood-fired pizzas from The Oven outdoor patio or stop for lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch in the historic Small Barn restaurant. Dining at Honsberger is offered seasonally.
