More about Dagmar Ski Resort

Dagmar Ski Resort is a favourite with families for downhill skiing and snowboarding. It is also home to Durham Region's most extensive terrain park with over 60 well-maintained and constantly evolving features spread across four Progression Parks, so there's something for every skill level. The family-friendly atmosphere encourages kids to develop their skills and maybe teach their parents (and grandparents) a few tricks. Start in the Puppy Pound with small features like gentle berms and mini jumps. Build your confidence in the Dog Pound on the boxes, rails, wedge jumps and hips. Intermediate skiers and riders can test their mettle on more challenging features in the Impound, while seasoned adrenaline junkies can catch BIG AIR on The Compound.

When it’s time to rest the skis, grab a seat in the chalet, refuel and enjoy the spectacular views over the slopes. If you’re inspired by the skills on the slopes, Dagmar Ski Resort has a fantastic team of talented and friendly coaches to guide you. You can sign up for a private lesson in the Snow School or join in the camaraderie of groups and camps with people matched to your skill level.

The nearest town from Dagmar Ski Resort is Uxbridge, heralded as one of the Trail Capitals of Canada. With over 220 km of managed trails throughout 3,000 hectares of protected green space, Uxbridge’s trails offer amazing hiking and outdoor experiences. These scenic nature trails roll alongside historic villages, weaving through richly mixed forests and following meandering streams to meet with the Oak Ridges Trail or the more extensive Trans Canada Trail network.

Dagmar Ski Resort is also a fabulous place to visit during the off-season. During the summer, the resort hosts exciting events to keep your heart pumping. It has previously hosted the famous Mud Girl Run Obstacle Race. This activity is filled with mud, foam, slides, and outrageous fun with your gal pals.

Dagmar Ski Resort is the best place to join family and friends for a day of fun and leave some wavy tracks of your own.
