The Belfountain Conservation Area is a 13 hectare seasonal oasis perched atop the Niagara Escarpment, and is home to beautiful waterfalls, water fountains and scenic foliage in Caledon.

Belfountain Conservation Area’s fairytale setting makes it a favourite among photographers and newlyweds. Visitors will swoon as they traverse the famous suspension bridge and spend hours gazing at the waterfalls and limestone cliffs, or spend their afternoon exploring the Yellowstone Cave and the historic Belle Fountain–both fixtures remain largely unchanged since the 19th century.
Visit the Belfountain Conservation Area in autumn and watch your surroundings become awash with golden leaves. Anglers and admirers alike will enjoy the clear freshwater lakes filled with Brown and Brook Trout.
Visitors can also enjoy hiking various trails around the Belfountain Conservation Area. Explore the 1.7 km Trimble Trail, which branches out from the Bruce Trail and traces the slopes of the West Credit River Valley, down to the Forks of the Credit, or the short yet rugged 0.7 km Gorge Loop Trail that leads into the Niagara Escarpment outcrops.
